Kellwood, a fashion company known for "unceremoniously dumping" Kimora Lee Simmons from Baby Phat, has closed a deal to buy clothing label Rebecca Taylor. Kellwood also owns Vince and Isis and bought contemporary sportswear brand Adam in August. No details of the latest acquisition have been released yet, but Adam Lippes retained full creative control of Adam after his deal with Kellwood, so chances are Rebecca Taylor will be able to do the same.
